    Hello

I am the owner of a Peugeot 307 2.0 16V car with the FRG engine code. From the beginning of the purchase I had a problem with the lack of oil pressure control.
Today I gathered for replacing the air cooler, I just changed to a new oil pressure sensor. After replacing it with a new one on the board, there is still no backlight only for this control.
After connecting the computer also cleanly, zero errors, zero faults.
From what I saw the beam is also good, it is not interrupted anywhere.
I thought that this control should not be in this car, but after reviewing the manual, it turns out that it has its place on the dashboard.

Anyone had a similar problem in their car ??

If the monitoring is analogous to that in 207, the indicator light will light up on a cold engine for a while after ignition, the display will show the oil level message, then the indicator and the message will go out (I don't remember if together) - regardless of the engine starting. I will not cut my head because these were the days of my driving school, but I think it did not light up when hot (in the sense after ignition but the engine is standing). Oh - I don't remember if Diesel or Pb or both, because you used to drive different ones (later it was an affair because not everyone in the exam could chew on a slightly different engine characteristics or even a different mot / car, but that's another story).

Light bulb - if a friend found a beam, he will find a light bulb ... but all in all, it is not the indicator that checks the oil level, but the driver. And replacing the bulb in the dashboard is a bit of a job.

3.1.11. Do not send messages that add nothing to the discussion. They are misleading, dangerous or do not solve the user's problem.
Warning. I cancel as a colleague shows how to replace the "bulb" in the meter from the car in question.

    This control is from pressure.

I found a preview video on YouTube about dismantling the car dashboard. This is not a Peugeot, no less the ways to mount clocks in different car brands are similar. The most important thing is to find mounting screws - but ..... this is just the beginning of the fun, which can be seen in the movie. Good luck ;-)

Seriously?? Do you think it's a burnt bulb? Removing the clock is the simplest thing, but just a bulb?

Rather, there is no bulb, maybe a blown LED.
Connect under PP2000 and test the lights. When it lights up, you need to look for the reason in the installation. If not, these are clocks to be repaired or replaced (only remember about mileage).

Hello after a long absence. Today, by accident, I wanted to activate the automatic lights function in pp2000 but I did not find this function. And by accident I started the client mode in the show-room card in pp2000. After starting the client mode, the indicator light came on, but along with a pile of other controls. The driver, passenger, atypolution, and oil pressure indicator light finally illuminated on the board.

Can anyone tell me what the mode is and can I change it without any serious consequences ??

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the oil pressure indicator issues in a Peugeot 307 2.0 16V with an FRG engine. The owner reports that after replacing the oil pressure sensor, the indicator light on the dashboard remains unlit despite no error codes being present when checked with a diagnostic tool. Various responses suggest potential causes, including a burnt bulb or blown LED, and recommend testing the dashboard lights using PP2000 diagnostics. One user shares a video on dismantling the dashboard, while another mentions that activating a specific mode in PP2000 temporarily illuminated the oil pressure indicator along with other controls, prompting questions about the implications of this mode.
