    Hello
It seems that Samsung's washing machines / washer-dryers are rapidly locking the door locking mechanisms. In the electrode forum I found an application from 5 days ago an identical problem. Today the same fault caught my washing machine WW90J6413 (it's almost the same as WD90J6410 previously reported, only version without dryer and with door details and a knob in a different color). From what I read it probably fell the device door lock: after starting the program you should hear the click of the door locking bolt. For me this sound is missing and the word DC appears on the display. I haven't opened my washing machine yet, so I have a more accurate diagnosis in front of me. The original lock I found in the online store N ... with parts has a price of 262 PLN + shipping! A bit much for a 3-year washing machine. In an old Bosch washing machine, the blockage lasted 16 years and worked quietly, in Samsung in which the locking resembles a shot from a rifle after less than 3 years of failure.
    - Are the locking mechanisms dismountable / repairable?
    - Are there any cheaper replacements for the lock matching the above mentioned device available on the market?
    - Has anyone (recently had) similar problems with Samsung devices? Maybe this is a wider problem and concerns a production defect occurring in a significant part of the equipment?

    ---------

I removed the lock mechanism. The connector for connecting the lock has 3 wires marked on the lock socket with the numbers 1,2,3:
    1-color black (thick wire)
    2-color blue (thick wire)
    3-brown color (thin wire).
With the washing machine switched on and the program selected between the 1-2 wires, the plug has 204V (not 240 and 204).
An attempt to start the washing machine does not change anything - the voltage between wires 1-2 remains the same (zipper unfastened).

Contacts 1-2 in the lock have no connection (open), even after moving the movable part of the lock the circuit does not close.

Does this indicate damage to the zipper? How exactly should it work?
    Regards

As Szajsung is bouncing heavily in ads, they have to pay attention to something.

It should be assumed that the blockade does not interfere, if a replacement occurs, the company N ... should have it given.

In general, Samsung is a big production defect, but as for the blockages you have nothing to look for here, it just happens and we do not compare it with the good old Bosch, not this league.

It doesn't indicate anything because it should be like that.

One of the thick wires is the so-called common, thin feeds the lock mechanism, and the other thick feeds the device from the lock, let's say such a return. Which is the one that needs to be traced inside the lock.

    Hello
Problem solved - the door was locked. Instead of the original (designation DM-7) instead of the original (designation DC34-00026A) it cost me around PLN 60 + transport. I bought some on the auction portal, although it is also available in several online stores.
As for blockade diagnostics: in my case the module was "deaf". Regardless of the position of the movable sliding element after closing the door, it did not show any reasonable resistance (measurement of any contact combination - always open) and should, because the washing machine uses this element to detect the closing of the door and the passage of current through the coil.
In the network I found many reports of failure of this element - it looks like it has limited durability and it rains after about 3 years of operation.
    Thank you for your help.
