Hello, I am replacing the power supply in the stationary. The old PSU had a normal 4 pin ATX 12V power connector. The new one has an 8-pin cube. How do I connect it, do I need an adapter?

    Is the plug 8pin or 2x 4pin?

If it's 4, then one half will fit, and the other will hang unconnected anywhere.
If 8 - then one four will also match, the rest of the plug will just stick out of the socket on the board (it doesn't matter).

It turns out that the plug can be split into 2 ends. Thanks for the help
