    Hello, I'm going to replace the graphics card with the asus gtx 970 strix which has only an 8-pin connector and my power supply has only 2x6pin for the graphics card, the power supply is "https: //www.morele.n...-he-500-387227/". Will the adapter be able to do it or do I need to replace the power supply if I want a graphics card with an 8-pin plug?

    A 6pin-> 8pin adapter should be enough.

    Enter the brand and model of the power supply.

    What is the rest of the computer configuration?

    And indeed the link does not work, sorry my mistake :D . I know that it can do it, but can this adapter be able to top up the card in 100%?

    Weird, I have a free 2pin cable, but it is not on the 6-pin one, but somewhere near molex it is loose

    You need to buy an adapter. Is it from molex or 6pin PCI-E. Make sure you don't have a 6 + 2 pin plug, although probably 6 + 2 is only in the hexa + series.

This 2 pin is probably not from PCIE because it should have a square and this hexagon here is a photo of what the connector looks like Upgrading to ASUS GTX 970 Strix: Adapting 2x6-pin PSU Connectors to 8-pin GPU Compatibility

    Just note that there are two hexagonal pins on the 2nd pin, not a square and a hexagon

    in total, I will put a hexagon into a square plug worse if it was square and you would have to insert it into a hexagonal

    But I am unlucky, I plugged this 2 pin into my gtx 750 ti which has a 6-pin connector and one wall broke through this 2 pin ... It seems to be fine with everything, but the price of the card went down by PLN 100 and the warranty 1, The 5 year old went to them ...
