    Hello.
    I have a laptop sony vaio sve1511g1eb.
My problem is that I can't access Boot Menu or even Bios.
By default, this laptop should be entered by pressing the "ASSIST" button. But a few months ago I changed the drive to ssd myself and installed windows 10 with a pendrive. Since then, the "ASSIST" button mentioned above does not work. So my question is how to enter Boot Menu in a different way? :P

I will add that with the key: Esc, Delete, F11, F12 does not work.

Did not work. I checked all from F1 to F12.
I will add that now after checking one USB 3.0 XD port doesn't work, I had a mouse there.

Press the ASSIST button while the computer is off. The VAIO Care screen will appear. By description :)

Okay, I'm closing the topic, because I managed to enter Bios so I can also get to the Boot Menu :P

    Solution (borrowed from another forum):
(Translated by Google Translate :P ) "The procedure for entering the BIOS on a Sony S laptop with Windows 10 is not easy. You must perform the following sequence from Windows 10.
Settings> Update and security> Recovery> Advanced startup: Restart now
The system will prepare for restarting and select the following options.

Troubleshooting> Advanced options> Startup settings: Restart
The normal startup options are displayed at this stage and the restart button is at the bottom. Press the restart button and immediately press and hold F2. You will be taken to the BIOS screen.

Note that the F2 key must be pressed before the first VAIO welcome screen appears on the monitor. If your laptop is too fast, you have no option but to log in to Windows 10 and start all over again. "

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around accessing the Boot Menu and BIOS on a Sony Vaio SVE1511G1EB laptop after the user upgraded to an SSD and installed Windows 10. The user initially attempted to use the "ASSIST" button, which failed to work post-upgrade. Various suggestions were made, including pressing F2, F9, and other function keys, but these did not yield results. Ultimately, the user found a solution by navigating through Windows 10 settings: accessing Recovery options, selecting Advanced startup, and then pressing F2 before the VAIO welcome screen appeared to enter the BIOS successfully.
