    Hi
I am thinking about the idea of buying a small ozonator to ozone shoes, bedding, etc. I would just do it in a large trash bag (shoes / clothes are thrown in, an ozonization tube is put in and left for some time).
In addition, I could ozonate the car inside.
Absolutely not about ozonation of entire rooms.

Will such a purchase work in practice? In the sense, will this solve, for example, the problem of the proverbial "zippered" shoes, etc.?

I would buy something small, e.g. ZY-H102, ozone production efficiency 400mg / h, the pump pumps about 3.5l of air per minute.
The cost of such a device is about PLN 130.

What do you think about it Is it worth buying something and it will work well?
Ozone is an oxidant, so how does it affect clothes / shoes? Is there an option that will damage something?

Such for PLN 130 is rather a toy and very little ozone it produces. from what I read it is not worth it. Recently I invested in BITOM BT-NS7 (give in google) for PLN 485 - solidly made, quite primitive construction and execution, but it works effectively. Car ozonation - a revelation. After all, you don't feel anything in the car. I'm also going to ozone shoes and bedding (allergy), but I haven't done it yet.

I bought a set of inverter + 10g boards on ali (about PLN 100), I made the housing and it is a revelation, I also read that too much ozone and too long time, or too frequent ozonation is "destructive" to various things, I just do something I think I read about plastic and upholstery discoloration.

ps I see that alledrogo the same sets are already PLN 140

just add the housing, switch, cable, other small things and ... time + skills that I miss

Well, I have a plastic case (PLN 10) and the rest of the things I had ... + skills of course :)

The only thing I found on the allegro is a 2g ozonator for about 285 PLN "OZONATOR OZON GENERATOR 2 G / H for decontaminating water" with this device you can "fight"

Even for PLN 140, which is 0.4g, you can fight, you only have to do everything longer, and in the car it can work well on average.

For ozonation to be effective, the amount of ozone must reach a critical concentration. Unfortunately, ozone is unstable and decomposes. So if the ozonator produces little ozone and in the meantime the first production decomposes then you will not reach the critical concentration for the room / car etc. Therefore, the most important is the purpose for which the device is to be used. The ozonator I gave reportedly makes 7g of ozone. He does it effectively because the climate is perfectly clean - at least that's the reason for the lack of smells that I have had the opportunity to smell many times in recent years (including ozonation in the service - they probably ozonated too shortly).

I mean the ozonation of shoes, bedding, etc. I would just do it in a large trash bag (shoes / clothes are thrown in, the ozonization tube is inserted and left for some time).

Well, such a smaller ozonator is enough.

    I conquer the topic:
Please explain the differences between the ozonator and the ozonator with an ionizer as well as what you recommend worthy of decontamination of rooms in the house (with display) for up to PLN 350.

    Thank you

Only part of the answer: ozone described above. Ionizers negatively charge particles, e.g. oxygen. In homes, we have definitely more positively charged ones. Everything sticks to them: dust, mites etc. Sometimes electrosmog calls it. Negative does not stick, they repel this mess, and gravity collects it on the floor. So you don't inhale allergens.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the practicality and effectiveness of the small ozonator model ZY-H102, which produces 400mg/h of ozone and has a 3.5L/min air pump, for ozonating shoes, bedding, and car interiors. Users express skepticism about the low ozone output, suggesting that it may be insufficient for effective ozonation. Alternatives like the BITOM BT-NS7 and higher-capacity ozonators are recommended for better performance. Concerns are raised about potential damage to materials from excessive ozone exposure, particularly regarding discoloration of plastics and upholstery. The consensus indicates that while the ZY-H102 may work for small tasks, a more powerful ozonator is preferable for significant decontamination needs.
