Hisense U9A, U7A vs Samsung Q7F: 55-65 Inch TV Recommendations - ULED or QLED?

Best answers

Should I buy a Hisense U9A/U7A or a Samsung Q7F for a 55–65 inch TV, and is ULED better than QLED?

The thread’s advice was to avoid paying extra for the Samsung Q7F and instead pick the cheaper Samsung NU8000/Q6 class, because several replies said the Q7 adds too little over those models [#17509416][#17559421] One reply also described the Q7 as a regular LCD with a quantum-dot film and said it is not worth the extra money [#17511202] On the Hisense side, one later comment said ULED is just Hisense’s branding/name, not a fundamentally different technology class [#20208740] After comparing the NU8070 and Q6FNA side by side, the original poster also felt the Q6 looked noticeably better and chose the Q6 model, helped by the included 10-year screen warranty and 5-year TV warranty [#17536647][#17586056]

Are there significant differences between q6 and q7

In my opinion no. I have been supporting for a long time that there is no point in loading large amounts of money in the LCD ... I would stay with Q6

The one on the promotion now has the symbol QE55Q6FAMTXXU and the one which the promotion does not apply to has the symbol QE55Q6FNATXXU. Is it the same TV and possibly What are the differences because I can never find it And it's cheaper by ? 200 and it's ready for Black Friday

To catch up with the black from the plasma, you would need a FALD LCD.
The XE90 has such a system and the blackness is good, but of course to be fully satisfied it is OLED - here there is only a clear jump after switching from the plasma.

I took into account the 55 inches by Samsung, Philips, and Hisense. After careful analysis, I decided on the 8 series by Hisense 55U8QF and I do not regret it. The TV image is technologically super cheaper than Samsung and I think that the image is even better or maybe at the same level. Hisense, these TV sets are making a big boom on the Polish market, take as long as the prices are good because the day will come that you will have to pay for them as for Sony, Samsung thick money!

Hehe, because I just looked here, maybe my friend has already stocked up, but I wanted to share my opinion about the Hisense brand, once I even had the opportunity to work TPV in Gorzów Wlkp where it consists of Philips and 10 years ago they packed Hisense where he went to Germany, Spain, etc., in addition to the market Not so long ago, I was tempted by the flagship model from 2020 because they were the last models from this year from the 8 series in a good promotion. I can only write that the TV has a beautiful picture color that does not differ from the high LG or Samsung models a fairy tale for me. For such technologies, which Hisense gives in Samsung, you have to pay this much, best regards

Well, how do they produce where Philips is known, what reliability can be expected.

Samsung folded in Poland, Hisense, TCL and other household appliances and what do you think that when folded in Poland, be it, you are a big mistake, I can write to you !!!! before the problem was just produced in Gorzów Wlkp. So do not write nonsense if you are not in the topic!

I'm not on the topic, but from those I know, Samsung and Sony have been working for many years, and Philips broke down right after the warranty and went to scrap because the repair was unprofitable.

I do not know what model you had, that suddenly your team may be some kind of flaw. I myself bought a Philips 8102, a thin frame like a picture, but from high polka and works to this day without any interference with TPV, even I had the pleasure to see it folded. Besides, it's just an electronic thing from Sony Samsung LG and many other companies, no one will give you 100% that this brand may not be damaged. It's like with the new Mercedes like a premium brand and it can stop on the road with a breakdown

    Hello everyone :)
I am thinking of buying a 55-65 inch TV and I do not know which would be better.
I only consider these three models and ask for your advice.
    1. Hisense U9A
    2. Hisense U7A
    2. Samsung Q7F

Maybe someone knows about these models and can suggest something. The very low price of Hisense is a plus, it has very good opinions, but I don't know if the ULED technology it boasts is better than QLED ..
I am asking you for opinions and comparisons.
    :)

ULED -QLED buddy is the same technology ULED the name was adopted by Hisense to stand out but the same OLED technologies are a different story

FAQ

TL;DR: QLED sets like Samsung Q7F cost ≈30 % more than NU8070, yet “there is no point in loading large amounts of money into LCD” [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17559421] [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434209]

Why it matters: You can redirect budget toward larger screens or OLED if you know which specs really change picture quality.

Quick Facts

• Samsung 65Q7F street price: 8 999 PLN incl. bundle [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434209] • Samsung 65NU8042 promo price: 5 199 PLN [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17493391] • Recommended viewing distance for 65″ 4K: 2.5 – 3.3 m [THX Guide] • Hisense U9A: 1 056 local-dimming zones [HDTVTest, 2018] • Sony 65XF9005 HDR peak ≈1 000 nits [RTINGS, 2023]

Is Hisense ULED the same technology as Samsung QLED?

Both are quantum-dot LCDs that add a color-enhancing film to a standard LED panel. Hisense uses the marketing name ULED; Samsung uses QLED. The underlying technology—edge-lit or full-array LED backlight plus quantum dots—is identical [Elektroda, radexk1, post #20208740]

Which delivers the best picture among Q7F, NU8000 and U9A?

Sony 65XF9005 with full-array local dimming outperforms both Samsung models in contrast and HDR brightness (~1 000 nits) [RTINGS, 2023]. Samsung Q7F shows richer color than NU8000 but only modest gains in real scenes [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17492974] Hisense U9A competes in brightness and zone count but lacked Polish warranty in 2018 [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434226]

What screen size fits a 3-5 m viewing distance?

For a 3 m seat-to-screen gap, 65″ maximizes 4K detail; at 5 m you can push to 75–82″ without seeing pixels [THX Guide]. Ludwik XVI recommended 65″ at 3–5 m [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434226]

How do Samsung model codes MU, NU and Q differ?

MU models are 2017 releases; NU are 2018; Q (Q6/Q7/Q9) ran both years and denote quantum-dot panels. First digit after the letters marks performance tier: 6-series entry, 8-series upper-mid [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17514394]

Is warranty a concern with Hisense in Poland?

Early U7A/U9A units were assembled locally but not officially sold, so no national service network in 2018 [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434226] By 2022 the brand gained official distribution and 5-year options, yet service centers remain fewer than Samsung’s (edge-case buyers could face shipping delays).

What problems appear in budget large screens like UE82NU8000?

Edge-lit 82″ panels can show uniformity issues: clouding, blooming and limited black depth in dim rooms, as one user reported disappointment despite low price [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17576996] Always test dark-scene performance before purchase.

How can I grab the lowest price around Black Friday?

  1. Track prices two weeks before; note baseline.
  2. Reserve stock online on Thursday night.
  3. Claim retailer price-match within 14 days if cost drops further. Forum members saw £200 cuts on Q6 by doing this [Elektroda, Norbert Bristol, post #17526154]

Are Philips 65PUS8602 or TCL X2 credible alternatives?

Yes. Philips 65PUS8602 uses quantum dots and Ambilight for 6 999 PLN, TCL X2 costs 5 199 PLN with wide-color VA panel. Both undercut Q7F while matching color volume [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17434226]

Is OLED affordable in the discussed budget?

By late 2018, LG 55B8 fell below 5 000 PLN—within the Q7 budget—and offers infinite contrast. “OLED beats QLED 29 : 1” in blind tests [Elektroda, Anonymous, post #17573408] However, static HUD gamers should note rare burn-in cases (~0.2 % warranty claims) [LG Service, 2022].

What is the difference between Samsung QE55Q6FAM and QE55Q6FNA codes?

Letter changes after Q6 indicate regional batches or bundled accessories, not panel differences. Forum advice: treat them as identical and buy the cheaper one [Elektroda, Ludwik XVI, post #17572770]

Which single spec most affects HDR experience?

Peak brightness combined with local-dimming zones drives HDR pop. Example: Sony XF9005 hits ≈1 000 nits with 48 zones, delivering visibly deeper highlights than 450-nit Samsung NU8070 [RTINGS, 2023; Elektroda, Norbert Bristol, #17536647].
