Hello, the problem with air conditioning arose after a short circuit at the construction site of a neighbor. Here, the question is immediately whether a surge in the neighbor can damage the devices in our home? Before the failure, the device worked fine. Two days ago my wife called that there was no light. It turned out that it had broken a fuse from the air conditioning circuit and a main fuse in the switchboard outside. The overvoltage and differential switch did not work.
After a while, it was guessed that the short circuit and blown fuses were at the same time. I was looking for a bit and the communication error is probably caused by damage to the control of the outdoor or indoor unit. How can you check them?

Check the power supply of the outdoor unit but not the 230 V power supply only on the control board. There should be some LEDs on.

Lack of time and equipment caused the call of a specialist. He replaced the board in the indoor and outdoor unit successively but with no effect. Behind the second attempt he had a new set of 3 tiles. He sent the old plates for a diagnosis, where it was found that the cause was a burned outdoor unit engine. This in turn burned the control boards. After replacing the plates and the engine, the fault was removed. Cost PLN 1000 Fortunately, the insurance covers everything ?
