    Hello,
    washing machine as in topic. After turning the knob, error E16. F16 is a blocking error - I replaced and no effect, the heater was measured and it's ok. Anyone know how to deal with it?

    Does the error appear after pressing start?

    The error appears as soon as you turn the program selector. I tried resets, from 6 o'clock and spin reduction and with start and 15 positions to the left, but they do not work ...
    edit:
    The triac controlling the blockade, I naturally checked, it was ok, but I had the same one. It seems to me that it's a matter of resetting the error, but I don't know which way is right in this model?

    Erasing in this model is even different ... But I know how ;)
    1. selector for OFF;
    2. press and hold "eco perfect" and "water plus" (first two buttons to the left of the selector);
    3. turn the selector to position 15;
    4. wait for the error to be cleared;

    Maybe someone else will be useful.

    Interestingly, the washing machine is unique, i.e. it has "wrong" buttons. To start it you do not press "start" but "water plus". The client claims that it was - I find it hard to believe. But other than that, the washing machine flashes. I do not close the topic, maybe someone will say about these crazy buttons.

    Hello.
    I have a Bosch clasixx 6 washing machine and error E16 occurs. I am asking for help because from my observations it seems that this is something with the motherboard. I replaced the lock, the heater is new. So that's definitely not it. After switching on, the washing machine normally starts and starts washing until the heater switches on, everything is ok. After a while from turning on the heater error E16 pops up and when you press start again, the washing machine starts and in a few seconds sometimes the error returns. The lock holds so I don't know alone anymore. Programs without water heating continue without any problems. Help

    Because nobody deigned to help. I will answer myself. It was cold February on the power board.

Topic summary

The Bosch WAB20264EN/16 washing machine is experiencing error E16, which is associated with a blocking issue (F16). The user has replaced the lock and confirmed the heater is functioning correctly, yet the error persists immediately upon turning the program selector. Various troubleshooting steps were discussed, including attempts to reset the machine. A specific reset procedure was provided: turn the selector to OFF, press and hold "eco perfect" and "water plus," then turn the selector to position 15 to clear the error. Another user suggested that the issue might be related to the motherboard, as their machine operated normally until the heater was activated, at which point the error reappeared.
