    Hi.
I have a problem with the Amica ZIM 646 E dishwasher. Error E1 is displayed. When I select the program, I can't hear the dishwasher taking water and after two or three minutes it crashes the E1 error. I connected the Aquastop valve briefly and it works. Any suggestions?

I checked the correct operation of the aquastop by briefly connecting it to 230v and to the water connection. When he got 230v, the water started to fly, so I exclude damage to the aquastop. Except that immediately after selecting the program in the dishwasher, it should first pump out the water, I didn't think and indeed as if the problem was starting here because I can't hear anything ...

Unfortunately, the dishwasher started working. First she started pumping out the water and that wasn't there before when the dishwasher stopped working

I have Amica, three years ago I replaced the solenoid valve (for a new one). And for two days I get the message "no water intake". Everything would indicate the same problem again, but this solenoid is "alive". Every time you turn on the dishwasher, you hear a ticking sound and then a buzzing sound. After turning off the dishwasher, the ticking and humming stops again. Is it possible to damage the valve in such a way that it is electrically "alive" and does not let the water out?

See if the valve gets an impulse from the short circuit. The relay on the motherboard may have failed. That was my case. 4 relays out of 7 and the integrated circuit controlling them have failed. The repair cost me PLN 26 :)

Well, he definitely gets some impulse because he "ticks" and hums. And it makes me wonder if he can show signs of life and still not let the water out.

Usually, when the solenoid valve is damaged, it lets water in despite a functioning coil, but it also happens that due to calcification it may not open and the water will not let out.
