    Hello!

I have such a problem that due to the concentration of people in my apartment, my dad often uses headphones while watching TV.
There used to be a fashion for wireless headphones - a transmitter was plugged into the TV or other source, and the headphones had a built-in receiver, so you could walk around the house and listen - without pulling the cable.
Now I cannot find such a solution. As soon as wireless is found, it is only with bluetooth.
The problem is that such headphones are only a receiver and are intended for phones and laptops that already have a Bluetooth transmitter.
But the TV does not have ... how to get out of the situation? Any BT transmitter? I've seen something like this, but most of these transmitters are a receiver, and when it only transmits a microphone signal - such a headset is for the phone.

Can you advise something? Maybe somewhere you can buy such headphones with a transmitter in the set? [/ S]

Is the TV an LCD type or an old CRT? If the LCD has a digital audio output, from which we can output the sound to a clever device, which is an audio and optical signal converter to bluetooth signal available for up to two devices.

You could also use separate devices, such as an optical signal converter for 2 x audio, for this bluetooth transmitter, but this is an unnecessary complication and two power supplies instead of one or more cables.

Hello. Have you solved your problem?
I have a similar one with a Philips TV.
Tv bought last year. Asking the seller he has BT so I bought it.
Later it turned out that BT does not support external devices such as headphones.
I have also been looking for a sensible solution to connect headphones to the TV for some time.
Did the converter solve this problem for you?

For me, I tried to check if the Samsung UE55NU7452 TV detects the wireless handset, detected it without any problems, it was enough to enter settings / sound / sound output, select the list of bluetooth speakers and it was possible to pair the TV with a bluetooth headset.

Until today, I have not bought headphones. Somehow it happened, but I still have it in the back of my head.
If you want to find wireless headphones, but not bluetooth ones, look for them as "radio headphones".

Yoo! Create your own topic and you don't get attached, what kind of photo is it if you can't find out anything from it! Read the forum rules, it would be better to inform you about the TV model instead of a photo. Such info allows you to find information about tv's capabilities, and nothing comes out here because the second section of the sockets is missing.
