Hello. I have a CD and actually two are two parts of a DVD movie. It is a ripped party from VHS to DVD. The files on the disc are the vob extension.
This is what it looks like:
Title: Converting and Playing VOB Files on PC: Steps, Software & Capturing Frames
How do I play this movie on my computer? How to convert it to a digital file e.g. mp4? What programs to use? I have 10 wines. I want to capture individual frames from the film and take pictures of them. How to go about it?

I guess you don't need to convert these files. You just need to use the appropriate player and you will be able to watch these files normally on your computer. To play files in VOB format, you should have a software DVD player that supports VOB format. It could be Windows Media Player (version 12 or higher) or VLC Media Player - it's enough. I especially recommend checked ALLplayer and KMPlayer . You can find the necessary software, for example, here:

    https://www.dobreprogramy.pl/KMPlayer,Program,Windows,12538.html

Live For Speed, CyberLink PowerDVD 13, CyberLink PowerDirector 11, Roxio Creator NXT Pro, GRETECH GOM Player, Apple DVD Player, ShedWorx Smart Converter, Roxio Toast 11, Roxio Popcorn 4, MPlayerX should also work.

In wmp, how do I select a file from disk?

Fast, it's definitely vlc. You can load a whole dvd and there is a normal scroll bar and all Player do some wonders. It cannot see the CD, only the files in the directory. No scrolling.

That's what who likes and who suits best. In my case, I usually start KMPlayer or Bestplayer for "freaks". Especially the latter is an intuitive, very functional and free player in portable version which "weighs" just a little more than a megabyte. So it fits on all fingers or additions to ripped records. Maybe it will be useful, so I'm joining.

    Search is my middle name.?
Seriously when it comes to the photos, I don't know how they come out. Certainly not the best, but Print screen rather falls off. Definitely single frames to catch. When I am at home, I will change the voucher to mpeg and see. Thanks anyway for all the hints. And a free video editing program where I can do it, do you know any?
