    Hello.
I am the owner of a Samsung Galaxy A40 with a number in T-Mobile and for unknown reasons, the phone automatically wakes up every 3 minutes and prompts "Wait, terminal configuration is in progress ...". Clicking "Cancel" causes the same message to appear in 3 minutes, waking up the phone, and clicking "OK" causes the "SIMextra: Phone configuration?" Menu to appear. YES NO". After selecting "NO", the phone wakes up again after a few minutes, wanting to configure itself, and after selecting "YES", the SIMextra menu appears (ie Today, Entertainment, Information, Configurator, See more, Top up). Clicking on "Configurator" displays the query: "Access to the Premium service has been blocked. Unlocking: Send SMS to 80450 with the text OFF. (PLN 0) "
Of course, I do not want to unblock this thieving service, so the question is how to turn it off, because waking the phone up every few minutes drains the batteries amazingly?
For my part, I forced the SIMextra service to be stopped in the phone's Application Manager, but nothing helped. You can not turn it off or remove it, because it is pre-installed on the SIM card. I contacted BOK T-Mobile, but the conclusions from the interview are below criticism, because only the 3rd time they correctly entered the application to the Technical Department. Contacting the Samsung Hotline did not help either.
Did any of you have a similar problem and know how to solve it?
In my opinion, the problem lies with the network, which forces auto-configuration, but I am not 100% sure, especially since I used the same LG K10 SIM card before, nothing like that happened.

    Greetings.

Disabled access to premium services should not be a problem in completing the auto-configuration process. This message (about disabled access to premium services) is always displayed the first time the card is activated. Once it downloads this configuration, it should be a peace of mind, and you can set whatever you want on your phone. For some reason, it doesn't want you to complete the auto-configuration process. I do not use T-Mobile on a daily basis, but recently I started a modem with such a card and I had to insert it into any phone to download this configuration and be calm. Only from what I can remember, during the message "Wait, terminal configuration is in progress ..." I had to ... wait, clicking on anything interrupted this process.

It is best to go to the T-Mobile salon and show what the problem is, maybe the SIM card is damaged or incorrectly configured.

@tzok - if the final element of the configuration (at least this is what I have come to) is clicking "OK" when prompted "Access to the Premium service has been blocked. Unlocking: Send SMS to 80450 with the text OFF. (PLN 0) ", thank you for completing this configuration. ;-)
    Any other ideas?

This message about blocked access to premium services seems to me to be completely independent of the terminal configuration. Configuration comes down to setting the SMSC number and APN configuration. I still argue that this is a problem with the card or the service configuration on the operator's side. In a T-Mobile showroom, you should be able to solve the matter in a few minutes. Just calmly show what's going on. The lockout message is standard and everyone gets it, don't pick on it because it's a dead end, unrelated to the problem.

I come back with the answer.
Well, the damaged SIM card turned out to be the fault.
After replacing it with a new one in the showroom, the problem was resolved. :-)
So @All Elektrodowicze - if you have such a message - I recommend going to the salon immediately and replacing the SIM card.
