    Hello,

I wanted to consult the strange behavior of my galaxy s8, I will add that I am its first owner. Without any reason, the phone stopped reading the sim card, first I lost the ability to use the internet, but I could call and send text messages (even though the phone showed that it was connected to 3G), 2 hours later I only had 2G, but I could not send text messages any more that, no calling (no network message), finally after another 2 hours the phone completely stopped seeing the SIM card. I also noticed that it doesn't show the IMEI number.

After a few hours, the unused phone displayed the message "Ok", and everything works as it should, I have access to LTE, it shows IMEI.

I would be grateful for any clarification or advice. Do you recommend resetting your phone? Perhaps a virus?

Start with a reset. If the situation repeats, use the guarantee.

Try a reset, factory reset your phone, or you'll have to replace the sim card reader.
