    Hi,
I have a KOŁO SLIM frame no. 99235 with cistern no. 99235004.
I dismantled the button, took out the tank filling mechanism, but I can`t figure out how to remove the cistern...

Maybe someone of you has a video or understandable instructions (step by step). The results in Google are already looping and I keep finding (ironically -)) the same thing over and over again.

    best regards
    Maciej

    Hi.
Were you able to dismantle the valve? I have the same problem and I`m still struggling with it.

Yes - there is a rubber connector - I just bent it hard in this place. Not very intuitive, but it worked.

Rubber connector? And what does it have in common, where to look and look for it? I remove the top piece with the two holes for the buttons. The filling valve is on the right.

    Edit.
I already know what connector it is. It is best to first remove the upper "ears" that pull the valve upwards when the buttons are pressed. Then unlock the side cables connecting to the float. And then you have access to the rubber connector, lift it, tilt it a little and it can be removed.

Buddy, did you dismantle the water supply first? I have to replace the gasket because it sometimes drips and leaks irregularly. I understand that you dismantle the connectors along the rubber connector and then "break" the element when pulling it out?

Exactly. I leave the filling valve on, it doesn`t interfere with anything. I don`t even unscrew the supply pipe. Just remove the top links and disconnect the side links and you can remove it. When lifting, you gain access to the rubber connector. You can gently help yourself by tilting to one side, but this is not necessary. The first time I even managed to remove them without disconnecting the side ones, because they are so flexible. However, I prefer to save them and not risk them breaking one day. :-)

Ok, I ordered a new gasket :D . The thickness of the inspection hole is several centimeters even though I assembled the set only on one plasterboard. In my case, I will probably have to remove the reinforcements along the rubber. Have you replaced the gasket?

I just cleaned it under running water. Earlier, I poured citric acid and warm water into the tank. Thanks to this, 95% of the dirt and limescale washed itself away. All seals are functional.

    Hello everyone.

I have a problem with the Koło slim flush.
The strength of the water flushing stream is too low, it is visible that the water does not reach the front of the toilet bowl.
I dismantled the drain valve, cleaned it, and made sure there was no blockage under the water outlet, unfortunately to no avail.
Please help me in this matter.

    Thanks in advance.

You have to unscrew the bowl and there is probably a gland in the water drain hole in the form of a plastic mesh stuck with a stone. It`s best to remove it. Or clean it.

before I looked here, I was thinking about removing this valve because I was afraid of bending it in the place where this thick rubber is, but after reading your advice, I gained courage and I DID IT!! although after inserting the cleaned valve, water still leaks from the cistern into the toilet bowl.
I don’t know if buying a new drain valve will help, because the cleaned one looks like new and the seal is not damaged either.

I decided to replace the gasket, but it is still leaking. I also think that the reason may be that the gasket adheres too poorly to the white piston filled with Styrofoam. Can anyone tell me whether the seal and the piston should fit very tightly together? Maybe gluing the gasket would help, but then what should I glue it with?

The NEW drain valve solved the problem!!
By the way, I would like to inform you that there is no problem with inserting or removing the NEW VALVE through the inspection hole because the black rubber is flexible and can be bent and the valve can be installed without any problems. :ok:

Hello, I have a problem with the Slim set described in this post. First replaced the gasket, it didn't help, then the entire valve was replaced, and it still leaks. Does anyone know what else I can do to prevent water from leaking?

    Hello.

The problem is probably solved now, but I will write it for the next people struggling with the slim wheel. If water is still leaking after repairing the drain valve, you need to pay attention to the filling valve. You need to remove it, descale it, and check the seal.

How to check if it's the filling valve's fault?

    1. When the water is drained, it does not leak.
    2. When the tank is full, it does not leak, but after a short time, it starts leaking.
    3. When the tank is full and you can still hear a slight noise from the filling hose.
    4. When, after a short time, after the tank is filled, the water level rises so much that the water begins to flow through the opening protecting against overflow.

I replaced the gasket, but unfortunately, it was worse. I decided to replace the filling valve.

FAQ

TL;DR: “95% of the dirt and limescale washed itself away” after a citric‑acid soak; this guide shows how to remove the KOŁO SLIM 99235/99235004 drain valve, fix leaks, and restore flush strength. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19345146] Why it matters: It helps DIYers fix KOŁO SLIM concealed-cistern leaks and weak flushes fast, without wall demolition.

Quick facts:

Quick Facts

How do I remove the KOŁO SLIM 99235/99235004 drain valve step-by-step?

  1. Remove the top “ears” that the buttons pull on. 2. Unlock and disconnect the side float link cables. 3. Lift the valve to access the rubber connector, tilt slightly, then pull the valve out through the opening. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19329236]

Do I need to disconnect the water supply to pull the drain valve?

No. You can leave the filling valve in place and avoid unscrewing the supply pipe. “I leave the filling valve on, it doesn’t interfere with anything.” This speeds the job and reduces risk of leaks on reassembly. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19345061]

What is the “rubber connector,” and how should I handle it?

It’s the thick black rubber coupling between the drain valve and outlet. Lift it to unseat, then bend it to create clearance. It feels counterintuitive the first time. As one user put it: “Not very intuitive, but it worked.” [Elektroda, replay111, post #19329227]

Why is my KOŁO SLIM flush weak, and how do I fix it?

A clogged plastic mesh at the bowl’s water inlet can throttle the flow. Remove the bowl, locate the mesh insert at the rim feed, and clean or remove it if scaled. Restoring this path brings back flush reach to the front. [Elektroda, Mierzejewski46, post #19785558]

I replaced the gasket and it still leaks into the bowl—what now?

The valve seat or piston can deform, so a new gasket may not seal. Replacing the entire drain valve fixes that interface. “The NEW drain valve solved the problem!!” Flexible rubber lets the new valve pass through the opening easily. [Elektroda, porcikamator, post #19831192]

What’s a quick, safe way to descale the cistern internals?

Soak with warm water and citric acid, then rinse components under running water. One user reported “95% of the dirt and limescale washed itself away.” This restores seal function without harsh chemicals or full disassembly. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19345146]

How do I tell if the filling valve is causing the leak?

Watch for these signs: it’s dry right after flush, then starts leaking later; a faint fill-hose noise persists; water level rises slowly after refilling; water eventually goes to the overflow. Service or replace the filling valve. [Elektroda, przemeczek85, post #20769561]

Can I pull the drain valve without disconnecting the side linkages?

Yes, the side links are flexible. It’s possible to remove the valve without disconnecting them, though disconnecting reduces stress and risk. The flexibility helps in tight openings during first-time service. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19345061]

My inspection opening is deep—can the valve still pass through?

Yes. The black rubber section of the valve assembly bends, allowing insertion and removal through the inspection hole. This avoids opening the wall or removing reinforcements in most cases. [Elektroda, porcikamator, post #19831192]

Which side is the filling valve on in the KOŁO SLIM 99235?

The filling valve sits on the right side of the cistern when viewed from the service opening. This helps you plan access and descaling steps. [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19329236]

Should I remove the filling valve when servicing the drain valve?

Not required. You can leave the filling valve installed and work entirely through the front opening. This reduces disturbance and speeds reassembly. “I leave the filling valve on, it doesn’t interfere with anything.” [Elektroda, Cedalt, post #19345061]

After cleaning and reassembly, it still drips—what likely did I miss?

If a new drain valve still leaks, the filling valve may be weeping. Remove it, descale, and check its seal. Replace the filling valve if the leak persists after refilling and you hear a slight hose noise. [Elektroda, przemeczek85, post #20769561]
