5 flashes of white LED when the power button is pressed for more than 8 seconds - then it cuts the battery.
4 flashes of the white LED when the resistance (heaters or something, I'm guessing) is too low or too high - then it cuts off the battery output.
4 white LED flashes when a short circuit is detected - cuts off the battery output then.
15 flashes of the LED when the battery voltage is less than 3.3V - also cuts off the battery output to protect it from damage.
In addition, the battery indicator should flash 4 times after each "puff" according to what is written in the manual. Good luck.
