    Hello
I am planning to replace the battery in my iPhone 8.
I will be doing it for the first time and I don’t know which battery to choose. Does anyone have any tips?
So far this one seems to make sense to me: https://allegro.pl/oferta/bateria-strongcell-...;bi_c=MjM4OGYzNDItZjJjMC00Yjk5LTg0ODgtYjY4OTY 1ZmVkOWU0AA&bi_t=ape&referrer=proxy&emission_unit_id= c90cb079-60fa-4949-9ebf-9268131e49dc

Generally, I use Greencell batteries in my laptops (sorry if this is considered fake advertising). I have not been disappointed yet, my daughter, when she had an iPhone 8, I also installed a battery from this company. From what she said, her impressions were positive.

    Quote:
The battery has a significantly increased capacity - it is slightly larger than the original one, but it fits easily in the phone.

And there may be a problem here. iPhones are designed very precisely, the manufacturer has used 101% of the space in the housing and there are no empty spaces to insert a larger cell. Space above and around the battery must be maintained so that the temperature generated by the chips can dissipate throughout the device. If you still press a larger cell there, you disturb the heat flow in the housing, which may prevent the phone from dissipating it properly. It will noticeably heat up the casing in places where it didn`t do it before.
Moreover, such cells are often of poor quality and quickly lose their lifespan.

IMO, instead of such a battery, it is better to use an original Apple battery. There are often promotions at authorized services and replacement of older phones is slightly more expensive than the one from Allegro. [/tr]

The original battery replaced at an authorized service center for iPhone 8 costs PLN 139,
    Check it out on iMad.
There is no point in buying replacements because it`s a lottery. It will work or it won`t.

If the replacement battery costs PLN 139, it`s a good price in my opinion. You buy 2x batteries, it takes your time, your nerves, you spend PLN 120 and you decide that it`s crap and you buy this one for PLN 139. Only it has to be original from the manufacturer.
The same applies to batteries in Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, 1+ and others. Simply, every original battery for Allegro and other similar ones is a poor quality Chinese one with half the capacity.

Greencell was mentioned above. I have it on my laptop, I even like it. I ordered it for Mi8 thinking that if it works so well on a laptop, it will be similar here. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was a few days old, the AccuBattery app showed about 60 percent capacity. The manufacturer sent a new one. I think I gave that one away. After a month, the cover on the phone falls off. Battery inflated. I bought an ORIGINAL battery on Allegro. It was the same, even worse. After the 3rd or 4th time I gave up. I ordered NOHON from China, it holds capacity, it has about 95 percent of it. The phone is working. The delivery time was too long as it took over a month.

Today I would send the phone to the service center or mi-center to replace the battery or I would look for a broken six-month-old phone for good money. ;)
