    Hi Colleagues.

I have a problem with the red and green lights always flashing. The Toshiba logo is displayed at the beginning but then the screen is always black. It does not respond to anything.
Does anyone have firmware by usb for this Toshiba?
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for the file.
Unfortunately, all the attempts said "upgrade error" until finally the TV was dead, there is no backlight. Only the standby light is red and green. I imagine that the TV is definitely finished.

I think you know the procedure and you did the right thing when installing the software.
    1. The boot sequence is corrupted and the installation does not start
    2. You have rewritten software from another TV model and which has a different remote control code (the OK key is inactive).
    3. You are using a stick with the smallest capacity possible.
    4. Put the unzipped mb130_en.bin file on the stick.

I think the whole procedure was correct.
I've had the same thing happen to me as in this video.

Several times I got the green lines and I cut the power and the same procedure happened again with the same result. I think the problem was that in one of the attempts I cut the power too quickly. Then the TV never turned on the backlight again.
My ok button works, I've checked it with my phone. I've copied all the files directly to the pen drive (unzipped, of course).

Hi, same problem as above. Can you please send me a valid link to the Toshiba 55L5863DG? Alternatively show where I can download it. The manufacturer's website does not help.

are you sure about the model?
post a photo of the sticker on the back of the tv: it needs to identify the correct software

Topic summary

A Toshiba 43V5863DG TV with chassis MB 17MB130S and LCD panel VES430QNYL-2D-N01 exhibits a fault where red and green standby lights flash continuously, the Toshiba logo appears briefly, then the screen goes black with no response. Attempts to resolve the issue involved searching for USB firmware updates. Shared firmware files (mb130_en.bin) were provided via external links, but flashing attempts resulted in "upgrade error" messages and eventually a non-functional backlight, leaving only standby lights active. Possible causes include corrupted boot sequence, incorrect firmware for the model or remote control code, improper USB stick capacity, or interrupted power during flashing. The OK button functionality was confirmed, and firmware files were correctly unzipped and copied to the USB drive. Users requested reuploads of firmware files due to ongoing issues. The problem appears critical, potentially indicating hardware failure after unsuccessful firmware recovery attempts.
