hello I have this intercom (Videx 3000 series) in my flat that's too loud even at lowest setting. is it possible to reduce the volume even more, add an off switch, or, even better change the ringer to something less annoying?

    thanks!!!!

Exposed circuit board with wires in an open wall-mounted enclosure.

Part of a Videx intercom mounted on the wall.

You cannot change the type of ringing from the uniphone, as it comes from the control unit, but you can turn it down by inserting a potentiometer or (experimentally selected) resistor between the green wire and connector 4.

The signal source is the handset.
If you seal 80% of the handset opening with transparent thin tape - you will reduce the ringer volume.
The audibility of the call will be ok, because you put the handset to your ear.
