I'm working on a project to design a system that continously monitors the parameters of Solar batteries used in street lights and pass the information to maintanence authority for rectification and maintanence. Can anyone please help me with any related works and what are parameters to be monitored to ensure the quality of the solar cell batteries ??

This sounds like a fun project. Do you know what time of battery technology is used in the lights (lead-acid, lithium, etc?).

You'll likely want to create a circuit that can measure the voltage of the battery over time using say an ADC.

Let us know what battery type you're using and we can suggest some more idea to determine the "health" of the battery.

In India , we use Lead acid batteries . What are all the parameters which determine the health of the battery ??

And also can you please tell me what kind of maintanence work has to be done to keep lead acid batteries in good condition ??
