I have this question involving mutual inductances in a magnetic circuit. The problem comes from the book Electric Machinery by Fitzgerald. The circuit/question can be seen here:

I solved part a.) and am now working on part b.)
My book gives a vague equation for the mutual inductance, which they say is the product of the turns of two coils divided by the total reluctance (or multiplied by the permeance). Or I suppose I can find the flux linkage and pull out the self and mutual inductances, which I tried but I end up with a couple of pages of computations and no answer.
I am not sure how to set this thing up. I am assuming that the total reluctance is that which is seen by the coil that I am looking at. I have worked through it about 13 times and get the same answer. In solving for the mutual inductance between coils A and B I get:

When I check my solution with the book I find that I am mostly right, but the "la" term in the numerator is not supposed to be there, otherwise everything is good. Looking back I see now that the inductance that I am getting is the self-inductance, it is the same answer I got for part a.).
Would anyone mind offering some advice on how to go about finding the mutual inductance in a magnetic circuit like this, or checking me on this thing?
Thanks!
