How to determine and plot the reflection pulse timing on a transmission line waveform?

Hi,
I'm doing a specific question on transmission lines where it has asked me to draw a dimensioned sketch of the waveform at a particular point (please see attached). I've drawn a pulse of amplitude 5 at 3x10^(-7)seconds but I have no idea about the reflection pulse.
How do we work out where to plot that?

What you are talking about is VSWR reflected waves which is very important if you are thinking about antenna design on transmitters

Incorrect VSWR equals one blown RF output chip These days thats embedded which means One blown motherboard That’s how important this is !!

It also means incorrect Arial length = One blown mobile phone car kit also one blown Mobile phone that’s £455.00 a time if your talking state of the art top of the range Smart phones so yes its a major problem if you understand this concept of RF transmission

If you are talking BBC transmission lines at a £1000 a time mercury filled transmission valves which they still use I hate to say this you might just be out of a job in seconds

So Id say this area of math’s is well , mandatory especially in satellite comms data networks and military wise well I don’t think the Royal Signals Majors would be to impressed myself You might even find yourself in DB ( Detention barracks over this ) , not funny at all , march time everything you do eat , sleep , walk hmmm !! I cant explain differentiation and integration I don’t understand this but I know enough to know the answers you are looking for are in this I whish i did understand this more I could do a thousand times more than what im doing at present

I need extra math’s lessons to do some of this maybe some one can help me with this area of math’s other than this my math’s is not bad at all An area of math’s that i desperately need to design to full ability

That is my weakest area that part of math’s other than this my strengths are very good as too is my ability to write software and design hardware unfortunately you have to have this area of math’s which is why I’m so ever so slightly annoyed at this countries approach to math’s in universities

I think it should be mandatory all the way through your uni years no matter how good you think you might be You cannot design to full ability without this area of math’s impossible cannot be done

Yes it is my governments fault this They chose to get rid of math’s teachers in the first year of uni I don’t agree with them at all That’s conservatism for you , cut costs, cut corners cut out the professionals employ dummies instead and blame them when it goes wrong

I dont honestly believe thats a way to lead a country myself but Im going to leave that for you to think about as well

To me its limiting my education I dont like that at all I might be fifty years old but i understand a dam sight more than what they do and I think its wrong They are cheating me and others out of decent education which would make this country that much stronger and produce far more experienced professional engineers

( Maths maketh an engineer Argue as much as you want but maths unfortunatley maketh the best enginners in the world )
