For a digital ramp Analog to Digital Converter with a clock of 9MHz and 6-bit resolution, what is the average time taken to make a measurement in ns, assuming the signal is uniformly distributed throughout the input range?

Hi Jack what you are looking for is the calculation for TAD you will find all the information that you want contained in this document

See below upload " texas instruments" , have some very good notes on this and how too's alternatively do a search on TAD and ADC how too's
