Hi all, I want to calculate the PUE of a data centre. Obviously to do this I need to ascertain the IT load. The easiest way to do this I think is going to be to get the information from the UPS as all of (and only) the IT load is supplied by it. It's an APC SILCON 480kW unit. Thing is, on the control screen I can only read output voltage and output current. The voltage value is 415,415,415 so that's L1-L2, L2-L3 and L1-L3. The current values are 105,90,95. I cannot read nominal 1ph voltage on the screen. I can get some information from a service report earlier this year; L1-239.5v, L2-239.6v, L3-239.5v. Ican also reference a PF value from this report of around 0.92/phase. Since this service the load has increased but the type of load is the same so I guess the PF value will be similar.
Does anyone agree that the output load in kW will be;
L1, 105 x 239.5 x 0.92 = 23.16kW
Repeat for L2, L3.
