12V constant output with multiple Amps.

I am not an engineer but a hobbyist. My line of study is management so kindly reply as simple as possible.

For a project i need a power supply which can give a constant 12v output but the amps can be changed e.g. 12V - 10A or 12V - 15A or 12V - 20A etc range from 1A to 20A.

I bought me a power supply MRGN-900 its specification was that its a variable output device i.e. V and A both (0-60V and 0-60A) but as i want to reduce the A it reduces the V also and also its output depends on the device attached.

Question: Is there any device which can give me a constant 12V with a constant A (1-20). By constant A i mean when its on 12V 10A regardless of any device is attached or not it should give an output of 12V - 10A. Same for other A values.

A power supply will regulate voltage or current not both simultaneously. Usually the current setting is there as a "not to exceed" given the output voltage setting. As an example, if you short the output it will put out as much current as the current setting but it can't drive any more voltage so the voltage drops.
