I'm a student at UCL and Im trying to use an electret microphone to pick up an audio signal which is then reproduced by a piezoelectric disc as a part of an experiment with sound perception in spaces and materiality.
Ive tried crudely including the mic in a circuit of a piezo buzzer and the best I get is the sound of my voice through the buzzing but what I'd essentially like to do is have the piezo recreate the sound that comes from the microphone. There are many forums that show how to turn a piezoelectric disc into a speaker for your ipod or computer but I havent been able to utilise these.
If anyone could help or share a little bit of light on the situation for my I'd be so so greatful.bq).
