Increasing PWM signal voltage for SSR input.

I'm trying to use an SSR to replace my fuel pump control module (fpcm). Basically the ECU sends a PWM signal al to the FPCM which then powers the fuel pump at either 33%, 66%, or 100% duty cycle depending on the signal the ecu is sending. The problem I'm running into is finding a SSR that will work with a low voltage (+3.8vdc peak) PWM signal. The one I was looking at is" Crouzet C/O BEI Systems and Sensor Company 84137870, but it minimum input voltage for pwm is 8vdc. So I see two solutions here.

1. Find a SSR that will work with a PWM input of 3.8V peak with an approximate frequency of 80Hz. Then on the load side the specs need to be 0-15vdc 20A-30A.

2. Use the SSR I referenced above, but modify the input from the ECU to be a higher voltage pwm signal. Anyone have an idea of the circuit I'd use to "boost" my 3.8vdc 80Hz signal to be more like 12vdc 80hz? I'm thinking a mosfet or something like that, but I don't really have any idea how to go about figuring out which one or how to implement.

What do you think about using this 60V LOGIC N-Channel MOSFET FQP30N06L, instead of the SSR? I see it is rated at 30A so that shouldn't be an issue as long as I've got an appropriate heat sink on there.

My question for the community is now, what is the minimum PWM signal voltage that will be compatible with this MOSFET? Again I'm looking to drive it with 3.8vdc and 80hz, then it will be used to control DC power up to 15vdc 30A.

using a mosfet will solve your problem,
mosfet IRF540 gate threshold v is min 2v and max 4v and has a max load
current of 33 amps provide a good heat zing for the mosfet.
