What is term Yaw and Skew in Linear motors

Hi all

i read few things about linear motors. frequently i see the term like YAW axis, Skew Axis. I am not getting when an axis would be referred as YAW and skew axis.


Anybody could explain in brief it will be helpful for me

These terms comes with pitch and roll. These can easily be understood through a diagram.

Definition of Pitch, Roll, Yaw, Skew

Pitch, a rotation around the side-to-side axis. Making the airplane lift or dive.
Roll, a rotation around the front-to-back axis.
Yaw, a rotation around the vertical axis. Making the airplane drift.
Skew, a combination of two or three of the above.
