Hello. I am busy with a personal project and i want to know if there is a way that i can store 220v in a few minutes and release the 220v over a period of a few minutes. I thought of capacitors but any suggestions will be well appreciated at this point thanks..

You didn't mention how much power, but the a mechanical flywheel may work, or convert to and from DC and use batteries.

Capacitors store the electrical energy for a short duration. But that too not with fixed voltage. Voltage will drop with time. There are some capacitors named super capacitors which has higher retention capability and can deliver nearly constant voltage for some time.
