3 Phase Unbalanced

Hi,

I have seen one problem is 3 phase motor current during full load 1 phase fluctuations and generating heat after few hours may few days motor terminal become detached .I done loose connection corrected all points .pls help me solve this issue if know any one

Hi ramesh,
as u asked, the unbalance in load current will happen mainly with variation of the input voltage.
And it may happen with the weakness of the winding also, means having less insulation resistance, when compared with the other phase coils.

try to check the following points:
1.be sure that 3 phase voltage (between phase to phase) is up to the rated voltage
2. check the out put voltage at contactor terminals or at relay output terminals
( because if contactor life time decreased it will lost its property and it will unable to hold the contacts with that much tightly and there may be a chance to form air gap and due to that voltage variations will happen obviously load current will varies).
3. Check the resistance of all phase coils ( if you found it is less, its better to get it repair)
