Hello friends,
I would like some help with the fundamentations for the electrical generators.
I began a little project in my college building a electrical generator, for eolical applications, having a rotor with magnets and a stator with coils.
The main trouble I have is that the formulas, like Faraday and Lenz Laws, that appears in some books about this topic are some general with really simple cases where the formula applies, however, this project doesn't correspond to that formulas. The trouble begins when the formulas are used in my project, they show an extraodinary data and compared with the measure with the multimeter they don´t correspond.
There might be any formula for this structure for my generator, which variables let me calculate the voltage and/or currend produced by this generator. Variables like N coils, M magnets (in the rotor), B magnetic field, W angular velocity, etc.
Please, any help would be really appreciated.
