Condition:	Result:
1)Battery in place and not connected to charger	Device works
2)Battery in place and being charged	Device works
3)Battery removed and device attached to charger	Device does not work

I want to achieve above objective .

Can anybody guide me to do so !!!

Please find attcahed existing attached schematic !!!

Schematic Footprint denotes-

J25- Charging jack and charger is connected with this point.
U18- LTC4057 charging IC
U20- FDS6375
SW5- ON/OFF switch
J22- Pin 1 and 2 connected with battery. Pin1-: +bat and Pin2-: -bat

What is this charger for? Based on your conditions, if I understood it right, it should work if the charger is attached while the battery is removed. I believe the LTC4057 is designed for battery charging.

Lets have a look a example of smartphone...

once you remove battery and if you try to operate phone only with charger . Phone does not work..!!!

Same thing i want to implement !!!

That means my instrument should work above three conditions but not with this condition .
because charging IC LTC4057 is not enough to give load current of 1A . So its better not to operate only with charger .

using a relay and its poweyring circuit your problem can be solved connect the bat to the no of relay and nc to your load and the positive of the charger to the common oof your relay. pl see my attachment.
