I designed a 30 kV, 1 A DC power supply with voltage regulation of 0.2 %. It is basically a switching mode power supply. I interfaced it with my FPGA board in feedback loop using a isolation transformer with a ratio of 1000:1. when i tried to run the feedback control system, my FPGA board gets some issue. The protection diodes at the USB side of FPGA board gets destroyed. I think that there is some isolation needed from high voltage due to conducted noise. Do i need to use EMC filters for my FPGA board power. Please suggest any solution.
