I have a doubt on Power factor and Efficiency of Induction Motor.
My question is if the power factor is higher will there be lower energy consumption by the induction motor .
For Example
Motor-1
nameplate Voltage :- 2000V
Nample Current :- 58A
Power 200KVA
Efficiency at 80% load :- 91%
Power factor:- 0.85
Motor-2
nameplate Voltage :- 2000V
Nample Current :- 58A
Power 200KVA
Efficiency at 80% load :- 91%
Power factor:- 0.91
which motor consumes less Power? Or do they both consume the same power.
Consider that they are run on diesel generators
