Good afternoon,

Its my first question in this forum.

I have installed some metal halide lamps (400V-2000W) in my company and i faced a problem after a black out. Most of lamps was damaged and i can't find the reason.

I am looking forward to replay with your opinions.

I don't have much experience with Metal halide lamps, but just like other light fixtures I think it is very susceptible to failure also. Just a thought. One of the main reasons to light fixtures to fail is the lack of preventive measures. Like surge protection, arc control. Again, I don't have much knowledge about MHLs.
