Currently I am working on a design , where I am designing a SMPS (Switch mode power supply) . The first step is definately the selection of SMPS IC . (From LTspice or TI). The Electronic control unit is at the output of this SMPS (DC-DC) converter design. The different loads and other ECU-s are connected ahead of this ecu. I am confused about KL30 and KL31 pins . The Vout from the SMPS will be to the KL30 (pos pin of the ECU). Shall the KL31 should be left open or grounded. Or there must another powers supply design for this feedback from KL31, as shown in the diagram attached. Negative currents (must be handled from the KL31).
