How can I locate a wireless sensor network root node (base station)?

I'm trying to deploy a wireless sensor network (mesh topology), but I'm trying to find a way of locating the network. Any suggestions on how? I wanted to use a GPS module that would locate the base station, but I haven't found anything that would interface with my TI microcontrollers.

Hi Erik,

Talking about Wireless Sensor Network, try to consider first the capabilities of the sensors or its actual specifications. There are different ways to locate a device using GPS, and for the TI MCU, do you have any features of this? Try to check what are the features of the components you have, then try to make used of it.
