Non-electrical here so bare with. I'm trying to make my RC cars into automatic with decision making programming within a control space. Im placing GPS trackers on the RC cars similar to the available Tile trackers people can place on iPhone/wallet/etc. on the cars and I would like to create the control space they operate within. I want to pull a wagon/device/you name by a rope around for example a big field. After I pull the wagon around the entire perimeter by avoiding possible obstacles, is there a software it can propagate my desired boundary on a screen for positioning? Location of RC cars within that created 2-D space on a simple software. It can be blocks moving around my created perimeter on a 8-Bit screen for all i care
I'm aware they do this for motion tracking with movies by creating a 3-D environment but being that my cars only operate in a 2-D environment can it be simplified to not having to have markers around my perimeter. GPS on micro scale and 2-D instead of 3-D. Solely a calibration of perimeter sequence at the beginning to determine boundary and then Bam! Boundary is set. Now time for RC Dual of Death within the Boundary I marked by pulling the wagon/device/etc.
