3 Mode 12V COB LED Bike Light Circuit With Single Button: Solid, Strobe, Pulse

I need help trying to design a 3 mode bike light that uses a 12V COB LED. It's basic, but I can't find a circuit that already does it. I would like it to have one button the cycles through the mode with each click, including on/off. The modes are solid beam, strobe, and breathing/pulsing. I want a duty cycle of 50% because the LED is way too bright at 100%. If anyone can help with the best/easiest solution or point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi Jacob-Microcontrollers have gotten so small and cheap that it would make sense to use one for this task.  The Microchip PIC10F200 costs less than 50 cents and would do the job nicely.  The downside is that you'll need some code written, and then you'll need a way to get the code into the chip. If you're just doing one of these that can be a show stopper, but if you're doing thousands of these it's not a big problem.Hardware-wise, you'll need a voltage regulator to make 5 volts from the 12 volts you have available, and you'll need a MOSFET to drive the LED.  Let me know if you want to pursue this and I may be able to help further.-Rick
