Hi everybody,
I'm looking for an easy and quick way to test diodes and capacitors in series without having to remove these from the circuit. I understand that just for a diode itself, we can use the diode function test and see what voltage it reads. For one direction, it should read between 0.3 - 0.6 V, and for the opposite direction it should read "OL". Is there a similar test for a combination of diodes and capacitors that are connected in series? I am having trouble determining this. Please refer to the pictures to see the two specific circuits that I am dealing with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
