It can be done, but if it you don't get it right you will end up damaging your board or components. You would be best to make up some simple test boards with provision for a few ICs, and buy any old cheap LFCSP device and practice. See this Analog Devices app note about the package and how to work with it, in particular things like the solder mask for the center pad.However, I would strongly suggest that there are two better options. Use a reflow oven, they can be made quite cheaply, and there are articles about them on the web, they come as kits or are pre built. Otherwise, some fabrication houses will do small runs of boards, even one, they typically hand place the components so you don't need a pick and place file.Cheers,Richard
