I'm looking to power this motor,https://www.amazon.com/Simer-3415P-Spinkler-System-Pump/dp/B009ZTV15Ubut I am unsure of the kind of circuitry I need. I've looked at solid state relays as well as magnetic motor starters, and I'm getting a bit confused on what I really can use with this. I have a 300A supply feed powering many other pumps too, so I was also worried about effects of inrush current but I did not want to spend too much on a soft starter if it is not needed. Right now, I plan on using a contactor with overload relay and properly sized circuit breaker, but I'd like to know if just a solid state relay would suffice and whether a soft starter or a thermistor is needed to control inrush. I'd really appreciate a recommended schematic for this motor. I'm also powering DC motors like this https://www.amazon.com/Everflo-EF5500-Diaphragm-Boxed-Ports/dp/B007ZQZLJCand am much less sure about proper operation for them, so would appreciate help with this also.
