Hi All

I working on small project, where i would like to control some 24VAC solenoids. In past i have used standard Relays, but now i need to make my design more compact and i am thinking of using some SSR.

I am thinking about using the AQH2213AX SSR and have my microcontroller it. This is my design, can someone advice if i need to have any additional circuit or make any improvements?

I have attached me design.

Unless you have a particular requirement for isolation between the solenoids and the uC, consider using a Triac. You can get logic level Triacs (will trigger on 5V) and they are a simple easy solution. Get the gate current and see if your UC will drive it (yoiu'd need a series resistor) or if you need a buffer.
