Best Bidirectional Power Supplies for Lithium-Ion EV Battery Pack & Cell Testing

I would love to get my hands on some good reviews about bidirectional power supplies for EV battery tests. Not much materials out there, seeking anyone with knowledge on a good equipment brand preferably for lithium ion battery packs and cells in electric vehicles

The battery as the central element in the electrical powertrain strongly affects the performance and range of electric vehicles. Extensive tests are necessary, starting from the cell characteristics up to the complete powertrain. Detailed analysis requires temperature and voltage measurement at multiple points (e.g. 50x cell voltage and 50x cell temperature).

My new EV a Lucid Air, went into an "emergency shut" down mode at the same time as a nearby lightning strike.
The company's explanation was that this was due to a software problem. "A trace sensing unit processor
stop communicating with other processors " and resulted in the battery having to be replaced.The whole incident was supposedly due to the vehicle not operating on the most recent software update. That explanation seems inadequate. I don't personally have the expertise to refute that theory. The whole incident felt similar to when my desktop computer crashed after a lightning strike. Does anybody out there have information or expertise to help guide me in my ongoing discussion with Lucid.
