Resetting Arduino Nano After Uploading HEX with AVRDUDE and BASCOM Code

Hello, I have recently been assembling a project that involved uploading HEX code to an Arduino Nano, the code being written in BASCOM with which I am unfamiliar.

I was advised to use AVRDUDE software to complete this upload as the Arduino IDE cannot be used for this task.
I used this software which seemed to complete successfully but when I tried to verify the upload it reported errors.

Can anyone advise if it's possible to reset the Arduino and start over and if so how would I do this?
