Hi,
I have a task currently need to get done. For this task, I have to design a TIC TAC game for an LED matrix. Since this is a DLD project, I must employ basic LEDs and shift registers, among other things. I can employ pre-made LED matrices. I looked online and this is the closest thing I could find: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/LED_Matrix_and_Lissajous_pattern_e222919c.html
As you can see, it has transistors on it, and there are two shift registers at the top.
However, it is modest in size because I need to make 9 boxes of tic tac toe, thus I want about 100x100 LEDs. Therefore, if anyone could give me some simulations or schematics, that would be great.
I have a basic understanding because I have experience with 74HC595 shift registers in my labs. I now believe that in order to control more LEDs, I must connect them in series. So, I would appreciate any type of assistance.
Thank you!
