Hello everyone!
I recently planned to make an IoT device for street light monitoring, but was a bit confused about the choice of RF circuit and antenna. I hope experienced seniors can share some guidelines on the design of radio frequency circuits and antennas, especially in the application of street lamp monitoring equipment.
First, I want to understand how to choose a suitable RF circuit. My device needs to be able to transmit information such as street light status to the central node, and the communication distance may be some. Can anyone suggest some commonly used RF modules or chips, and how to choose a suitable RF circuit according to equipment requirements?
Also, I am interested in antenna design. Streetlight monitoring equipment is usually installed near streetlights, so the design of the antenna seems to affect the communication distance and signal quality of the equipment. Can anyone share some basic knowledge about antennas and how to choose a suitable antenna type and location?
I would also like to know some considerations for RF circuit and antenna design in street light monitoring equipment. Are there some common problems that need special attention, such as interference, anti-interference ability, etc.?
Finally, I would be very grateful if someone who has seniors can share some actual RF circuit and antenna design cases similar to street lamp monitoring equipment. Through the analysis of actual cases, I believe I can better understand how to apply RF circuit and antenna design in my equipment.
