Symptoms: diode not illuminated, voltage at plug input 1.85 V.
Cause: faulty 16 V, 470 µF capacitor (does not hold voltage).
Remedy:
1. Remove the upper bezel by opening the housing with a flat screwdriver.
2. Remove the plastic button (switch).
3. Sensitively ream 4 holes in the housing around the 230 V pins with a 3 mm drill bit.
4. Knock the entire module out of the housing by hitting the pins with a pair of pliers - clamp the housing against the rim and hit two pins simultaneously with great force. Do not bend the 230 V contact plates.
5. Replace the 16 V, 470 µF capacitor.
6. Reassemble the whole unit in reverse order. Secure the upper frame (glue) so that the module is not pushed out when inserted into the socket.
CAUTION: on the movable earth element so that it does not touch the board and cause a short circuit.
