I haven't found a topic directly treating the problems with Tuya and timers (I own the devices as in the title) so maybe someone beating their head against a wall like me earlier will find this text useful.
Briefly: I tried on both devices to set the schedule directly from the app (without going through the Smart tab) - using the Schedule button in the device window.
And zonk - with even one set of time/week on/off commands it worked in a grid - i.e. half of the (randomly) set actions did not work. With more time slots, it was impossible to speak of any correctness at all. On top of this, the number of options that could be set (e.g. in the case of the air-conditioning - fan mode, slot mode, temperature, and in the case of the air curtain - no heating at all) was embarrassing. In fact, both units could (supposedly) only be switched on and off and the air conditioner (until the first power cut) thankfully remembered the last settings. The curtain always switched on for ventilation. I should point out that the manual remote settings via Tuya from the finger worked OK. Only the so-called harmongrams were frigging up.
I tried to find something about this unfortunate Tuya in the context of timers but silence - everyone is flashing, pairing with HA or Tasmota and nothing about the original clouds.....
In the end (I didn't want to dig around in the Smart, but there was no way out - I didn't think anything would work here anyway) I activated scenes on both devices (Smart tab - Automation) and there I used time schedules - a separate schedule for each on, a separate one for each off. And finally, surprisingly, it started to work. To top it off, this was where all the settings were already available on both devices.
Maybe someone will know what's wrong with this Tuya (just for curiosity's sake) and illuminate something. After a lengthy discussion on the Yoer helpline, their snoop somewhere had figured out that the Scheduler from the device tab was only likely to work for one on-off time slot. And even then it worked as it wished.
I have two more air conditioners - Gree on its own cloud app with a million settings in the schedule (there are even settings that are not accessible via the remote control) and Kaisai - running on the NetHome app and Amazon's cloud - and these appliances work OK on timers (Gree was a mess at the beginning, but the current version of the app has all the shortcomings corrected).

With all due respect to the masters who have spoken here - I deliberately did not get into flashing and HA - these devices are simply too expensive for me to inattention or lack of skills (not that I am a complete layman, but in addition to the main reason for the reluctance to rummage was a lack of inclination to study SmartHome and a certain ;) mental laziness) not to execute their network functions, apart from possible loss of warranty.
If the Chinese eventually unplug and shut down Tuya, then I'll rummage around, but still without dabbling in flash but rather by using a prosthesis (often used with gateway technology) - HA interface or other medium -> cables -> original remote control.
