    Hi,
as a gift to myself, I purchased the "WiFi Smart Plug EU Nest Counter Wattmeter Astronomical Programmer" (Official Ineox shop), which is known where.

Aside from the fact that the supplied quick start guide was ... useless / inaccurate, it turned out that in order to be able to use the functions in the "TUYA" app, I had to purchase the paid version because 99% of the basic version's functions are UNAVAILABLE (pairing the socket with my phone was also a massacre).

Are there any other alternatives in terms of software? The aforementioned software is also not fully translated into Polish.

    Regards.

And any particular brand of this socket? Or a no-name? Have you tried Google Home?

Then buy a product from a normal company. Looking by this auction you have inserted this product has terrible reviews and nobody is buying it.... Next time look at popularity and reviews then there is a much better chance it will work and not be problematic :)

@milka0: what do you recommend me more? I'm a total layman...and for the umpteenth time I see that you have to pay $$ to unlock options :(

@zdolnyadam I haven't dealt with the tuya app for a while and it surprises me that you have to buy something there to make it work. I have some old "smart dgm" already and the app from them had everything I needed because it was dedicated. I have now hooked this socket up to the Google Home app. The only functionality I've lost with this is voltage measurement and kWh use, but I don't really need that. With Google Home, you can integrate many different manufacturers and have everything in one app. It's best to choose something that has a lot of ratings and comments, then you know it works ;) On the official TUYA website they offer, for example, sockets from Eurolook, so I assume there are no problems with them. Apparently users are reporting some strange things lately with the tuya app, actually some payments for the usual functions. So the other big player is SONOFF. Have a look through the forum topics, I'm sure more than once someone has asked what to buy :)

    Thanks for the info.
    1. I had pored over pictures of the paid options but deleted out of anger.
    2. It was the same with the app for a simple motion sensor. Free push notifications in the app (terrible motion detection or no detection) and SMS notification/call paid fat money.
    3. Aaaaaa... i have pictures though.... i took with another phone :O [Tuya app]
